This is my card for CC747. Karen is our hostess and she chose soft seafoam, very vanilla, rococo rose for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is pearls.
The CC challenge is a little different for the month of July. We have a theme of Christmas in July for the entire month. You can follow that theme or just use the colors and create another card with the design of your choice.
I like trying to create a Christmas card with non-traditional colors. It always presents a challenge. For this card I used a vine wreath die. The berries are cut in rococo rose as are my little mittens.
The soft seafoam background dsp is from the Stampin'-Up "tranquil textures" collection. The sentiment is stamped in rococo rose.
I finished off my card by adding 3 snowflakes cut in soft seafoam. I added pearls to the centers to cover the dessert option.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Are you up to the Christmas in July challenge with these colors?

Mary, I adore the idea of the mittens hanging inside the wreath. The entire layout just goes together so perfectly--the frame, the DS paper, the scripty greeting (love those!) and the sweet snowflakes. It's all too wonderful!

The mittens are the cutest addition to the wreath, Mary.

This is so beautiful, Mary! Love the wreath with the berries and how the mittens hang down from it. The snowflakes are a nice touch. Love how you used the pearls. Superb!
