Pat has challenged us to use a sketch for today's Tea Party. That's something I do on a regular basis anyway. Here is SC157. I focused on the fact that our tea party recipient is a fan of Motown music and found this Stevie Wonder lyric. I am still playing with my very own font that I designed using Caligraphr. I'm going to try a script font next. I've also combined this with Kim's "They Say It's Your Birthday" VSN Challenge which was to use the color of our birthstones (mine is pearl, so I used some pearly paper) and be inspired by a concert. Clearly my inspiration is Stevie Wonder. I've never seen him in concert, but I think it sure would be cool.

Beautiful card!! I love the music theme, your font!!, the sentiment and the elegance of black and white, I've noticed watching our cards that each of us has covered a part of Shelley's favorites!!

You made your own font.......is there nothing you can't do! Jen you are such a super duper talented chickie and we are very lucky that you live in Splitcoaststamperville. Your card is fabulous.

I have always wanted to make my own font! I think you have inspired me to try it! This is a great card ! The keyboard is the perfect touch and the sentiment is so true.

How perfect, Jen! I also love the Motown sound and tried to figure a way to go in that direction today; just didn't have the right supplies. Shelley is going to love this card!
