This is the third card I made for last week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge. Lisa (Shoe Girl) is the hostess and she had a terrific challenge asking us to make cards for a hospice center so they can be distributed for birthdays. I made pink and blue versions of this card and thought purple would be nice too. I have sent 12 cards, 4 each of the 3 color versions, to the Hospice Center. The flower is stamped using 4 colors of purple ink, then is die cut out. The ferns are stamped in 2 layers right onto the card panel, then the die cut flower is adhered on top. The sentiment is stamped in Flirty Fuchsia ink. Thanks again for this great challenge Lisa and thank you for looking today. ~Karen.

I love it in purple! It looks great in all three colors but this version is a combination of my favorite color and my DH's favorite color. Gorgeous card, Karen!

Purple is a lovely colour for your carnation, Karen. It reminds me of my FIL's purple rose which he had beside the front door. You are sweet to have sent an array of carnation cards to the hospice.
