I bought some Distress Oxides to try, since I kept reading about and seeing great backgrounds done with them on SCS. So many enablers! LOL
I attempted to make backgrounds watching online video how-to's. This is my 4th bg and for me, it's harder than it looks to get a good looking bg. It's fun to try something new though.
I stamped my rose and then drew leaves and a rosebud at the top. I used Stickles glitter to outline rose and leaves. I stamped the sentiment and added 3 sequins. tfl

This is just stunning Gracie! I sure do admire your drawing skills- wow! I have not played with my oxide inks yet, but I think you have inspired me now. I adore how you used stickles around the lines of this rose image- it is so elegant looking. You really rocked (another R) the letter R challenge! ~Karen.

This came out beautiful Gracie. Love your BG and your rose...I love to see flowers outlined in gold. At first I thought you had embossed it but saw it was done with stickles...awesome. TFS Happy day
I must go and redo my Rose card...watch this space
