I am so excited to see Lee Ann as our Featured Stamper today! I think I squealed with happiness and surprise she hadn't been earlier. Thank you Judy for bringing this beautiful gallery to us. And Lee Ann, I did the scroll through every page. There are so many wonderful cards there.
But when I came to midway up page 3 and saw the card you cased for me when I was Featured Stamper, I simply couldn't resist keeping the inspiration going.
I also noticed that my card was a case of another FS. So this is a case of a case of a case.....
I kept the layout and the basic colors. I also used a piece of DP that had snowflakes as the main focal. I added texture with an embossed horizontal panel as well as a diecut along the right edge of the panel. My vertical interest is a beautiful Lady time. She was fussy cut (one of Lee Ann's favorite things to do) and I took some bleach to her face and hands and feet to lighten having stamped her on DP. She is actually holding a pocket watch, but I thought it would be fun to add the word HOPE.
My sentiment is a fun Stampland image. It seemed a timely offering as no matter how much changes, same things stay the same, right? It is about the stamps in the end.
Lee Ann, your gallery is filled with creative and lovely cards. I even favorited a few that caught my eye...one of those 'why didn't I think of that'! Enjoy this gallery devoted to you!
Thanks for stopping by for a look.
