I stamped the PB image on WC paper with Archival Ink and coloured it with Tombow water based markers. I used the Creative Memories oval cutting system to partially cut around the image and finished it off by fussing cutting around the holly leaves. The PB images are often too big for my nesting dies but the CM system works well! Another Christmas card for the stash. :-)

Pretty. I like the tie in with the holly DP and the idea of different kind of neutral with the gray trees. The painting came out smoothly. I find WC pens and pencils can be a little challenging that way. I finally learned to scribble to the side and bring the color over.

Your watercoloring of the bird and holly is just so lovely and a wonderful contrast to the gray birch tree panel in the background! Totally delightful!
