This card is for Ina's alcohol ink challenge and also for the Alpha challenge. R = Rosy hello
The alcohol ink panel was made a few days ago...I made a few and wanted to try out some different techniques. After dropping and dabbing lots of ink, I decided to try stencilling my BG. I took the stencil off before rubbing it completely dry so had a second go. As you will see from the colours, the lift ink took off quite a bit of colour giving it a dreamy look.
As the panel was so pretty, I decided to fussy cut around the stencilled roses and piece it together to resemble a bouquet of roses. The hello sentiment was die cut from another alcohol ink panel I'd created...all those pieces come in handy.
TFL. Happy day
Watch this space...there will be a slight amendment to this card....it needs stems lol...will take another photo once done lol
Take 2....I did amend the card for those of you who saw the original. I decided to pull it apart and start again.
The rose was die cut using a scallop die...much better. I found a piece of sponged embossed CS in my stash and that's now the vase.
Gelatos slapped, sprayed and rubbed on a panel. Ferns stamped and the panel die cut.
The rose and vase added lol...twine and bling. Much better.
The sentiment was changed as I tore the original Hello one. Luckily I had some more of the alcohol ink foil in my stash....Wish die cut and added.
Oh it feels good to have a card that I like now lol.
Thanks for joining me on this journey.

What a fun creation with all of your modifications! It always feels good when you redo something and it finally turns out the way you envisioned it in your mind! Beautiful bouquet of roses for your pretty card!

I like both versions. The dreamy background you created for your beautiful bouquet and sentiment is so lovely. Very pretty card, Jayne. I loved reading your journey in the creation of this card. Lovely!

You do such beautiful work with alcohol inks and alcohol lifting Jayne. I really like how you did this sentiment die too. The rosey hello, then wishes, is just lovely and so perfect for the letter R alphabet challenge. ~Karen.
