Two fun challenges today. Over the winter, I participated in a card swap on the Kit and Clowder Facebook group. My partner, Willie Carter, sent me these amazing die cuts in her sweet card. There are so many spectacular silhouettes, so I couldn't resist finally using them (what am I saving them for) for Angie's Silhouette challenge. So, technically, these came from Australia, so I shouldn't call them cowboys, but I've forgotten how to say cowboy in Australian. And why not combine this fabulous silhouette with Dina's Stars and Stripes challenge? There's a reason I chose this particular die cut with the fence that coordinates with the striped card base that I used. I masked off the sun and used the sponge & spritz technique. Then I added a star that I coated with glittery EP. I will mail this to the Tea Party destination, because I had wanted to include a more masculine card in the envelope.

I think they go by stockmen down under. But let’s just call them Uber cool for obvious reasons, ‘k? Love how you worked all the challenges together. That is one fun diecut. Nicely played, Jen,

Beautiful card. I love the sunset behind those cowboys. I think it is funny that Julie mentioned Blazing saddles. My husband when trying to encourage me to exercise more tells me that if I don't take care of myself and have a debilitating stroke he is going to sit me in front of a tv playing Blazing saddles non stop. Of course I turn that around and tell him that if he is ever in that situation he will be watching "say yes to the dress"
