Don't you just love it when the idea you have in your head actually comes out just the way you envisioned it? That is definitely what happened with this one.
If you've been checking out my recent cards, you know I have been enamored with the big Poppystamps happy birthday die and have been experimenting with different colors and highlighting. That gave me a ton of leftover die cut letters. Of all of them, I especially wanted to do something with the letters from the die's largest "HAPPY." Just love that tall, narrow font. I decided to make a playful birthday card using these letters, substituting this cute bear from MFT's Bitty Bears set. The sentiment is from a SSS birthday set.
I started by die cutting the stitched focal panel from Bazzill Diamond Bling card stock. I die cut a second filler layer to add dimension.
I cut and colored the MFT bitty bear and die cut it out. Again, I cut a filler layer from some thin cardstock for added dimension. I used a glitter pen (clear) over the balloon.
I also stamped, embossed and die cut the sentiment.
For the HAPPY, I used 2 layers for each letter.
I used my SU graph paper to help line up my die cuts, using glossy accents to attach all my pieces to the focal panel.
I cut a panel of black card stock the size of my card base and adhered. I cut a slightly smaller panel of Blank Check Bazzill bling cardstock. Yet again, I cut a filler layer from thin cardstock. Assembled the card and then added glossy accents to my balloon for a bit of shine. Finished it off with a die cut snowflake and 2 stars (from inside of the snowflake) for just a touch of bling.
Thanks for looking!

I love how you used your large scrap Happy letters and substituted the A for your happy cute bear and balloon. Very clever and creative card, Debbie. TFS Hugs..

This is just too cute!! And yes, having a card turn out as one envisions is always a treat! So well done with that tiny bear and balloon as the A, and the overall clean look. Love it!
