I gave a bottle of wine as a thank-you to a work colleague who loaned me her Kindle to take on holidays - and gave her a card with it. Five minutes later she came in to ask could I make her a card for her granddaughter's birthday this week. Well, I don't have Disney stuff but I do have cute animals, so this is what I made.
DIY polaroid frame with a rectangle and square die. The giraffe and sloth were stamped on the background layer and coloured with pencils, then I sponged in the sky. The lion cub and koala were fussy-cut. I stamped, coloured and cut the balloons, and tied gold thread around each one, then positioned them so that the animals' paws would hold them down. I made a little birthday banner for the sloth to hold. The polaroid frame and balloons are popped up with foam tape. Inside has a birthday sentiment in gold, and a tropical flower.
Oh - the name is just old BG stickers from a 12x12 pack. I'd been planning to die-cut them, but came across the sticker sheets when looking through my 12 x 12 papers to find something for the inside and an envelope.

Well I have been looking at this all week thinking I would have time to look through your gallery AND comment on this...but since that hasn't happened yet, I figured I would just comment right now while I am helping DH finally get out of the house for the hike we were supposed to start 2 hours ago. I love the poloride frame with the paws on the outside...such a nice 3d look. The bg paper is perfect. What a b right, fun card. I hope you had a very relaxing, enjoyable trip.
