So pretty! Are you using a fixative on them? I'm wondering about your whole process on these as I haven't heard of chalk being used on them before. Plase share!

Yes please explain your process in using chalks. They are SO beautiful and I have been wanting to do these with these same sets to use at our cabin. I would love to make them so beautifully bright, and not have them ruined without some kind of fixative.

Thank you for your comments. The tiles were not pre-treated in any way...just wipe off the dust with a soft cloth. Images were stamped with StazOn ink. Chalks were applied with sponge daubers and cosmetic Q-tips. I kept layering on the chalks until I got the depth of color I was looking for. Then finished with three coats of Krylon Matte Finish.
