Misti's Summer Garden CAS challenge had me searching my images for lilies. My yard is just bursting with lilies of all different colors and it's awesome! I decided I wanted to use this image that I have never used before, but wasn't sure how I wanted to color it. That's where Judy's TLC Challenge came in. You know I will never use my brayer unless specifically challenged to do so, but I was intrigued by the tip to use a multi-colored ink pad and let it do the work for you. So I got out my Kaleidacolor ink pad, which I also never use and brayered the color onto my masked off image. Magic! I really like it! Then I colored the flowers with colored pencils to make them pop a bit and added some detail in white gel pen. It's a rare OLC for me. Thanks for two fun challenges, Ladies!

Your lilies are beautiful and I love the bright colors you used. I have a bunch of lilies too.
Loved your brayer comment!! I, on the other hand, love to brayer and feel like I don't do it enough!

How beautiful, and impeccable masking and brayering, that's where I would get a smudge in the wrong place and it would no longer be one layer. You're years must smell as beautiful as this looks.
With s spectrum pad is my favourite way (if that exists. Least unfavourite way) of using a brayer.

Very pretty, Jen; I used an old kaleidacolor pad today, too - surprised it still had ink! I bet your yard is gorgeous. My yellow day lilies are exploding : )

I think I still have some of those pads stashed, and I just may have bought my brayer originally to use with them but, I am telling you mine never turned out this great. You got such a beautiful seamless look here Jen, wow
