This card is for the challenge Lee aka LuvLee is hosting at VSN, it is to glam up your card and is in keeping with the overall theme of the VSN âeoeRock Starâe
The card is quite simple. I spritzed the card stock with a light mist of water before I dry embossed it so that the card would give a deep emboss without cracking or tearing. I then lightly brushed the ink over the raised embossing to bling it up. I added the ribbon and then heat embossed the greeting onto a piece of scrap paper and made a banner and I stamped the butterfly onto some velum and heat embossed that too. I used some of the ink to colour the butterfly wings and then just glued the butterfly to the banner just along it's body line. I popped the banner up with some dimensionals after having put the layers of the card togetherâe¦.and that's all folks.
VSN is a challenge run three or four times a year and is held over two days Friday and Saturday USA ET or Saturday and Sunday EST Australia, with often a mini VSN a few weeks' earlier just so you can get into the swing of things. You have an hour to make each card with a challenge going up every hour.
I love to try and do my challenges live but sometimes life gets in the way and so everyone just must have their cards uploaded within a week of the challenge. It is an honour system that you only take an hour to make your card and that is part of the challenge, it is amazing how it hones your creativity.
Anyone can join in the fun and this VSN is from 5th and 6th July in the USA or 6th and 7th in Australia with final uploads on the 15th July. We have many of our SCS members provide inspiration for an amazing weekend.

Great effect to lightly brush the silvery ink over the great embossing. Fun swirls on the EF.
