Hello and thanks for looking. This is a version for the Color Challenge, of what I made for my 4th of July cards, but those were with red/white/blue traditional Americana coloring. sponging sky colors and edge/grass on banner tag. watercoloring Rooster and ground at bottom. stamped full once and then stamped off the Black Tie ink on grass stamp image. There are several more nice cards in the S U Home to Roost album, made by others, that are similar and include charcoal / black gingham paper. I was originally inspired by a Pinterest card and then saw these lovely examples, as well. I love the addition of gingham for 'Americana', summer style. Hope you enjoy! have a great weekend all, thanks for taking a moment to review, if you want. Teresa

Marvelous take on the color challenge! Such a gorgeous sky and the color combination is great with the b/w gingham check and that bright spot of ribbon. Fantastic layout...love the postage stamp edging and layering!
