Robinâs challenge: summer! Living in MN where the winters are soooooooo long, one of the things I look forward to most in summer is COLOR (and flowers, of course)! So I went bold and bright (and floral) for this card. You may need sunglasses.
Masked the area for my diagonal panel and then stamped my flower cluster multiple times at different angles on the card front panel. Colored the flowers with copics, cut a diagonal panel to fit the masked strip, embossed the 2 black panels in white, die cut 2 of Stamplorationâs âFabulousâ die and layered them.
Adhered as shown, added a black thin border with marker to make the diagonal panel stand out more. Was about to add bling and thought no, I think there is enough going on here!!

Wow! This is so striking, Maura. I love all the color and the fabulous flowers. I did not need those sunglasses....it would have ruined all that beautiful color.

A beautiful and colorful card, Maura. I know what you mean about long winters, although ours aren't quite as long as yours, but we have a lot of gray days. You've colored your flowers just beautifully - just makes one feel happy inside.

Bright, bold and beautiful, Maura. What a stunning burst of summer flowers. That yummy orange panel for the sentiment looks great. Wonderful job stamping and coloring all those flowers.
Oh! Yes, this is fabulous for a MN girl! My husband's family live in MN and my dear friend is in WI so I know that color is a wonderful thing where you live! Gorgeous colors and I love how you set the sentiment at an angle!

If I had to choose one word to describe you and your wonderful creations, it would be FABULOUS! I love how you create these bright, bold floral cards - so much work with masking - but ohhhh so worth it. As always, your colouring blows me away Maura.
