I love to be challenged to go back to my old cards. Iâve come a long way thanks to all of you. I needed a card for a coworker that just got promoted to AVP. Here is the card that I chose from my first page of uploads. That was long before I got my ScanNCut, or even foam squares or Spellbinders Card Creator dies. So this morning, I made a bow tie cut file for my ScanNcut and cut out three ties from scraps of DP that I pulled from my scrap drawer. The paper was thin, so I cut out three more black ties to back them. They seemed naked in the middle, but I didnât want to do buttons again, so I took thin strips of paper and wrapped them for more dimension. Canât wait to browse todayâs gallery. What a fun challenge. Thanks, Cathy!

Yes we've learned a lot and started our galleries almost together, I love this fun bow tie design, the first one was very pretty too with the buttons and pretty papers, but I love the colors on this one and the bow shape is beautiful!!

Love the design of both cards, Jen! Love the neutral colors of this updated version and like the bows better without the buttons...I remember using those button back in the day!! Thanks so much for taking a walk down Memory Lane with us today!

I love your 2019 edition of your bow tie card from 2016. The shape of these ties look like the real thing, and the center wrapped with matching DP looks great. I am having scrap envy when I see the lovely masculine looking designs the paper scraps you used for the bows. I’m popping this into my bookmarks to CASE for future graduation cards! TFS
