This card is for the, Try a New Technique Challenge, the Colour challenge and also for Inas S2S challenge...my favourite flower.
I love tulips. They always remind me of spring when I lived in the UK and of Amsterdam. They are definitely a favourite of mine. I had seen this stamp used before and loved it as it practically fills the card, so when my order arrived recently and I saw Inas challenge I knew straight away that I wanted to use it.
I had already sponged the panel a few days ago so this came together quite quickly. Underneath the fussy cut flower is a stamped one in black ink. It looked lost and I wanted the colours to pop so what else to do but pop another flower on top.
I got a little carried away stamping the smaller flowers and should have stopped at one but I still think the tulips shine the brightest....maybe it is the Wink of Stella I added lol.
Tfl. Happy day

I love it! That muted background is just perfect for this bright tulip image. With my heritage, it would be a shame not to love tulips. I love the way the tulips spring forward out of the darker bg. The little stamped flowers are a great addition.

I LOVE tulips and they are my favorite, too. I see you have a yellow one and that is my favorite color for tulips. Your tulips are really standing out against your blended background. Very pretty!!!

The deep blended tones in the bg make those tulips the shining star of this card - truthfully, I was so focused on those that I wasn't consciously aware of the tinier stamped blossoms.
