So, this is a very simplified version of one of these cool Statehood hoops inside the brown paper bag site Angie has chosen for us this week. ( if you scroll down, in the second mug shot there is one that looks like it may be Washington with the trees and mountains in the state) I did not include the mountains as I wanted room for the words. There are a couple more of this same card with different sentiments here on the blog, along with a closer crop of the one I am talking about that I used for inspiration. shhh... the puppy is sleeping so, comments from me will come in batches. (there is also an awake shot from yesterday in that same post) Thanks for this challenge Angie, & tfl.

What a great card, Stacy. I love your little trees. I would love to visit your state. Izzy is just adorable on your blog. Makes me want a puppy.

Izzy is as cute as a pup could be, Stacy! Of course, your tribute to our fantastical state is perfect! I love the hoop art...and might have missed it if you hadn’t been inspired, wink.

Your outline of the state looks like it was embroidered! This is a wonderful card!

So simple and right to the point, Stacy. Perfectly inspired! You did such a good job with the green marker, I thought it was thread stitching at first.
