Today's Tea Party mission is to cheer up a lonely widow in North Carolina. I hope these cards bring her some smiles and brighten her day a bit. Snietje has challenged us to bring our Teapot POWER to the challenge, which was very fun (because, yes, O-range).
I used:
P-aint
O-range
W-atercolor paper
E-mbossing Powder
R-anunculus
First I embossed the flowers and painted them with Fired Brick and Spiced Marmalade Distress Paint. Then I took my green SN Aqua markers and flicked some grassy leaves at the bottom. Added some water and then watercolored some blue sky behind the flowers. I popped the watercolor paper up with foam squares on orange cardstock and tied a bow around it with embroidery thread. Lastly, I cut the word "hugs" with my ScanNCut in black and orange. I downloaded the Procreate app for my phone this weekend and have been playing with it since. I wrote the word "hugs" and saved it to my computer, then I used the ScanNCut software to make it into a cut file. It was really easy. The possibilities are endless...

Ranunculus are fun as well as orange, they're a flower that always makes me smile when come across them in a florist's. Love the way you did the grass - and you are certainly a great ambassador for the Scan 'n' Cut.

WOW this is sure to bring a smile! I love the hugs greeting...that's so cool that you did that and used your scan and cut to cut it out. I'll be looking for more of your words on future cards ;)

Your grass looks like a photograph! Great embossing and the colors are so vivid. I am going to have to look into that procreate app. Thank you, friend.
