Itâs my turn & my pleasure to host the Inspiration Challenge Challenge & weâre headed to The Crown Prints. They have a lot of fun prints & I was inspired by THIS one. I just received this new kite flying pig image & when I saw the pig print, that sealed the deal.
To make my card, I had a little square already cut & noticed it was about the right size so I stamped Leonard onto it & colored in the bg. He & his kite were stamped again, colored & fussy cut to add on top. I used an embossing folder for the larger bg..I thought it kind of mimicked what air currents would look like & added a single kite flying away on top. These two panels are layered w/ bright blue & the greeting was stamped directly on the card front.
Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, I love that piggie.....so cute! And, the embossing is just perfect and looks like the route the kite has taken. Just an awesome, adorable card. You used such a fun sentiment, too.

The embossing folder is fab on this card. What a cutie pie that pig is, and the extra kite really calls attention to the bg as well! Great job.

Of course, I love your image since I used the same one - lol. I should have looked to see if you used that image before I made my card since the pig pictures were perfect inspiration.
Love your embossing folder - it is perfect for this card. Awesome coloring and fun design. Hugz

Leonard is adorable! I love your choice of embossing for the bg. It definitely gives the illusion of the kite floating all over the sky in the wind currents! Love your creation!

Well, I just love everything about this! That cute piggie and the way you layered him up to make him pop. That great EF goes perfectly with the kite. And especially the pun! Awesome card!
