These fascinating little creatures were so looking forward to the Tea Party - even went to the expense of dressing up with the bow ties. Something has to be done about that sign though - and this collection of mischief will make short work of hiding it.
These are meerkats - my second most favourite animal. Looking at them you would think that they are quite large - but in real life they are tiny - and can stand in the palm of your hand easily. A couple of years ago I visited a small zoo on the coast - and was able to book in for one of their sessions with the meerkats - half an hour of incredible fun with the little creatures climbing all over you looking for something to eat (mealworms). It took me a while to get over how delicate looking they are - but one glance at their razor sharp teeth was enough to earn their respect. They are absolutely gorgeous.
The meerkats were stamped, coloured and fussy cut. Layered up on some design papers.
Hope you enjoy this collection of creatures.

Adorable card, and I'm fascinated by your story of actually meeting meerkats. They're cute, but I'm not sure I'd want them crawling on me. (I'm not real familiar with them, are they similar to prairie dogs?

My DH and I LOVE meerkats. In fact, today he is wearing his meerkcat socks! How cool is that! Your card is such fun!!!

Meerkats are just the cutest and these guys in their bowties are awesome! Love that hilly ground and fun background. Yes, I can tell that they do not care for that sign. LOL! We used to watch a show called Meerkat Manor on TV all about a family of meerkats and it was fasinating!

Oh gosh, I'm so envious of that hands-on experience. There's a wildlife park down in the south-west and the ring-tailed lemurs run free and are very friendly and will climb up you looking for food, but they're much bigger than the little meerkats. The zoo here in Dublin, the restaurant has one wall which is a window looking in to their enclosure. Such a sweet image with them all dressed up to party. Love that do not feed sign, too.

They are so cute these Meerkats, I love your coloring and loved to read your post!! I've already seen some in a zoo and I agree they are smaller than on TV
