My Jr in high school DD has a friend who is graduating and planning on going to Fashion Design School. I wanted to do a special card for him and will mass produce the rest of the cards for all the graduation parties. I knew I wanted to use a dressform so I used a technique that I have done before. I have some canvas that I Gesso'ed and cut the top of the dressform. I cut another complete one in Kraft paper. I pressed Versamark ink onto the bottom then used two coats of a mix of ep that I use for an older metal look. I added some.sponging along the edge of the top as it looked too pristine. I wanted to keep it all more masculine so I went with an Ivory bg and glued a piece of a dress pattern over it. I had the taupe measuring tape ribbon and laid that at the bottom. I stamped my sentiment and then placed the mortarboard sticker.
