The Misti Monday challenge for May was to die cut patterned paper. I used the new SU Magnolia Memory dies to cut the flowers and leaves out of scrap strips in my left-overs box. The striped panel in the background was also a left over piece. I cut the decorative oval panel from the center of the yellow glitter rectangular mat, knowing that the hole I made in the mat would be covered by the striped paper. The petals and leaves were shaped with round-ball stylus. All are patterned paper scraps that look so sweet layered. I had lots of fun using designed paper that had been languishing in the discard pile. Thanks for the inspirational challenge, Misti Monday!
