Sabrina's WTUI Marbled Books challenge commemorates the 1911 dedication of the New York Library, the biggest marble structure built in the USA. This also fits Monday's No Coloring CAS challenge.
I lost my marbles long ago, so I picked up a pack at the local dollar store ;) Followed the Rolling Marble bg technique with blue ink. Had a lot of fun with this technique and added to my stash! The results reminded me of overlapping airplane trails. I die cut the paper airplane in white and blue and stamped a sentiment. Added sentiment stickers matted with blue CS to complete. TFL

Carla, I think this is beautiful. It reminds me a little of some of those star/constellation backgrounds I have seen. The lines make great paths for that paper plane to follow anywhere it pleases. It's a brilliant monochromatic card.

I really like your rolling marble background for your plane and sentiments. The background is really neat, and your card could be used for a graduation too!

Grinning here...I am going to the thrift store this morning to find marbles myself! Your card captures life’s journey perfectly, Carla! It’s only those ‘all my ducks in a row’ peeps we need to roll ‘em a marble.
