DRS Designs is coming out with the coolest camo stamp. I used it for the base of my card. I was too lazy to look up how camo is supposed to look (colors, whether it overlaps, etc), so I just stamped away. I had way too dark of colors, so I pounced on some white acrylic paint with a paper towel and toned it down. After it dried, I stamped a font across it in vintage photo. I love how it came out and I can't wait to try it with better colors.
I really like how this came out. My Pop served two tours in Korea and my DH served two tours in Iraq (plus some time in Afghanistan too). I am very proud of them both - this card makes me think of them both.
Don't you love new stamping toys?

This card is just stunning Nancy! It is so beautifully made from the wonderful camo background, to the corrugated piece to this wonderful heartfelt red, white & blue sentiment heart. What a terrific way to honor the special men in your life. ~Karen.

What a wonderful card for Father’s Day! And kudos for both your dad and husband having been deployed! I am sure you are proud of both! Great way to honor them both.
