I chose to make DH's birthday card...I was thrilled when Karen sent me this beautiful sax stamp for my birthday. DH plays the clarinet, but the sax is the first wind instrument he learned and he'd still love to get one of his own some time. I knew I wanted to use this stamp for his birthday card, so I stamped it on watercolour paper and used it for the card front. Coloured with Polychromos pencils, edged with the leafy stamp from Vintage Vogue, sponged, and with a few extra music notes from another set stamped in grey just to fill the space. Matted on gold card.

My goodness Sabrina, you have made this saxophone image sing my friend! I love all the added vines around this image and jazzy music notes coming out of sax. It is almost as if I can hear this card playing "Happy Birthday to you!" How fun! ~Karen.

Oh wow, Sabrina, this is fantastic, what a cover to this special book! I love the sax - my son, Tim played the sax for many, many years and still has his alto sax although the guitar is now his instrument of choice.
