I made this card for this week's Teapot Challenge: Chris is helping her mom, Sandy, who has cancer. Just a little hello for her as she's away from home. This card also works for ABC challenge, letter H, and CAS534, no coloring.
I've been wanting to use some of my older stamp sets and inks I haven't used for awhile. I simply stamped tree, squirrels on bench, "Hello" and border. Then, I sponged around bench and card using the same colors that I had stamped with. I used a fine line brown pen to created a stitched border, then glued stamped layer onto card.

This is scuh a pretty card for Chris and I know she will love it. I like your stitched border. Those squirrels are plotting something....probably how to break into a bird seed feeder.

This is just beautiful. I love the peaceful feeling this park-like setting evokes from this card. I agree, the squirrels bring a smile to one's face. This is a wonderful card for Chris! ~Karen.
