Chose this scrap piece of hand-marbled paper as it screamed water to me. I auditioned different ink colors and placement of the lotus by embossing on acetate. I liked the way it shined so I cut out the winner, after adding some alcohol inks to the back side. The Dragonfly was stamped and cut by the scan an cut onto a little mailing label. I painted the wings with 3 colors of Radiant Pearls for iridescence. (so old yet, still work like new). This unusual color combo worked on this pretty pale gray card.

Oh my, what beautiful paper Lori. I always wanted to try real marbling, but the inks seem so expensive. I like the way you used your auditioning lotus as a feature in the end. I bet it looks lovely - I know I have some foiled acetate pieces from K&Co, and always liked how they looked.
