For Anna's MIX329 Pond Life how could I not use her own set of that name.
This started out as more CAS - the pond scene was meant to be reverse-masked on a one-layer card. But I'm totally shattered, and smudged some of the sparkle paste under the reverse mask. So I die-cut it, and then embossed the rest and popped it up on foam.
Stamped and masked the frog. Stamped the cattails (bulrushes over here). Masked off the pond and sponged the grass using a couple of greens, and the negative of a die. Sponged in the sky. With the stencil, I added sparkle paste over the pond area, and when dry, sponged it with blue. Coloured the frog and bulrushes with Couleur d'Art pencils and added Liquid Pearls to all the spots on the frog.
No sentiment yet, I can add one as needed.

So cute! Love how you adapted after the oopsie! I love the liquid pearls on the frog and the water looks really cool! Thanks for mentioning that cattails are called bulrushes there...I learned something today!

This is just so sweet! I love the little dirty face on the frog and that innocent look he's wearing. Such a happy card and darling scene. Awesome water and your EF is the perfect choice.

This is just darling Sabrina. This frog could not be any cuter and he looks mighty happy with the wonderful pond scene you have made for him too! Your water is gorgeous and so are all the grasses and bulrushes. Last winter, we found a tree frog in a plant in our bathroom (we have no idea how he got inside the house), so into an aquarium he went until spring. I did not realize that tree frogs "drink" by taking a 2-3 hour bath every day. Our Kermit had to use a cut down cottage cheese container for his "pond." Ha! This is going right into my fav's Sabrina. ~Karen.
