This is the first card I've made in about 2 weeks since I sprained my wrist (r)....I relied on some RAKs from SCS friends for most of this. Carla sent me the bird and bow tie images and sorry I can't remember who sent me the greeting and the white layering die cut. They sure came in handy today! Thanks! It wasn't too bad to color, etc...the hard part was the embossing...using my Cuttlebug is very hard at this point..I won't be doing any intricate die cuts for awhile. Now I need to rest up my hand/wrist although I really want to plant some flowers I got the other day...maybe a few this afternoon....TFL!

Oh, gorgeous! I'm glad that you were able to put this together mostly from oddments. I'd have thought sponging would be just as hard as embossing, because it takes a bit of pressure to hold the card still and stop it moving? Your bird looks so dapper in the spotted bowtie. He can go for a stroll along the Seine with mine ;-). Great to see you in the gallery, but take care with your wrist.

Gorgeous background and a very handsome bird with that dotted tie.

Yes...I can say fabulous! You've managed to create a fabulous card even with a sprained wrist, Polly! Sure hope it heals quickly so we can see more of your beautiful creations in the galleries!
