This is a color challenge using Lovely Lipstick, Powder Pink and Pineapple Punch CS. I chose Whisper White CS as my neutral. I started with a piece of Powder Pink that I cut to the right height but extra wide. I tore a thin strip off one side, punched out the hearts, embossed it with the Elegant Border Embossing folder, trimmed it to size and adhered it to a Lovely Lipstick mat. I die cut the rose in Powder pink but before I released all the pieces I added a small drop of glue to the back side of each petal. I positioned it on a piece of Whisper White CS that I had embossed with the Brick Wall embossing folder, and gently pressed each petal out of the die with my paper piercing tool. I removed the outline from the die then ran it through again with Lovely Lipstick to get the outline I wanted to use. I ran the die through a third time with a scrap of Pineapple Punch to get the center piece for my rose. I die cut the Happy Birthday, adhered it above the rose and popped the whole thing onto a panel of Pineapple punch CS. I was delighted to discover that the bright yellow ribbon in my stash almost matched the Pineapple Punch CS perfectly, so I wrapped it around my base layer 3 times before I adhered that layer to a Whisper White card base and added my rose panel over top. For my finishing touches I tied a small bow and positioned it at the very bottom of the rose panel over the middle ribbon, added Dazzling Details Silver Sparkle to the edges of the rose petals and popped on 3 rhinestones. In case you are wondering , I did the same thing to the Lovely Lipstick rose petals so I have a second rose panel to make another card.

Eunice, this card shows off that wonderful die perfectly. The ribbon tied around the base really anchors your central panel as well as provides a real colour pop. Thank you for joining us again at As You See It challenge.

Eunice, I love that little triple ribbon accents and the rose die with the two colours. You've found a nice balance of the three colours! Thanks for joining us at As You See It Challenges.
