My title is one of my favorite quotes from Pride and Prejudice. I have a tshirt with those words.
What makes a masculine card? What makes a feminine card? I choose to make art that might appeal to all, regardless of gender. No one thinks twice about flowers for a gentleman's funeral. Why not flowers or pink or glitter on a card for a man? Someday, gender won't matter as much and that will be great!
I was obstinate and headstrong because I used glimmer paper for my base, WOS on the words and sequins. Everyone likes some sparkle. Think about Doc Severinson. I adore this card. It's so me. Thanks for the challenges. PS Just to make things more clear, the main panel is a complete piece of paper...the branch image is clear embossed but I had cut the paper bigger and let the Brushos move onto the unembossed area. I didn't join two Brusho pieces. I could never recreate this exactly the same.

Ditto! I love the contrast between your two panels...the breeze you captured in the tree (and that headstrong girl) is a fantastic image and the Brusho splat is a sweet serendipity! I'd say you rocked both of these challenges, Jean.
Another fav for sure...

Favourited, I think this is beautiful! I never even looked at the CAS challenge - I usually peek in the morning but today was a holiday here and I am totally out of routine. Love the two sides to the card, two tones to the sentiment.
