So, I had seen Marilynn's 2's Mix challenge the other day, and then I happened to see this pretty card in Patsy's gallery this morning and one thing I really liked about it was that the flowers spanned the entire width of the card. you know besides the colors and textures.
So, to make changes I did not dry emboss or pop up the flowers and I ended up going over the pink with purple and blue to change the colors more. I have a purple rose in my garden that starts out hot pink and fades to a shade of lavender as the blooms open. I did change from a portrait orientation to landscape, and I did use two stamp sets, two layers, two coloring mediums, and I did end up with 5 of these after a couple of hours. I did change out the cardstock colors on the sentiments strips on them, two were black, two were a lavender color and one was a greenish color and the green sentiment one went on a Pool card base as I ran out of WC card bases with that deckle edge. There is a group mug shot seen here. Patsy, I hope you like this and enjoy your week! Thanks for these challenges ladies & tfl.
