**Bright enough at seven on Sunday morning to take a better picture...
I didn't want to miss the Inspiration Challenge's 700th celebration...but this hasn't turned out quite like I envisaged in my mind. And it's late in the evening for a good photo, but I'm out much of the day tomorrow...
I was inspired by the photo of the white peacock - especially as we were lucky enough to see them in real life on a river bank one night in France. I have a short video clip . Their feathers are quite unlike the regular peacock, much more delicate and airy, but I used the peacock feather from Fine Feathers, stamped it in white, embossed in clear, misted the card and added Moss Green and Leaf Green Brushos. When dry, I cut with a circle die. Because of the radiating tails I went with an embossed sunburst, and to mimic the little details along the tail feathers, I added tiny punched hearts to the end of each ray. Trimmed down and popped up on foam on a white base, and finished it off with a gem in the eye of the feather. I'll try to replace it with a better photo on Monday if I get a chance.
Congratulations on 700 challenges to all the IC team, past and present.

I've been lucky enough to see a white one too! I like how you used that sunburst to mimics the fan of feathers and all those tiny punched hearts make quite decorative "eyes".

Love the sunrays with the little hearts at the end and the feather is so pretty. You do the most interesting and gorgeous cards, Sabrina.

Oh I have never seen a white peacock, and I bet they are beautiful. I love the colors around your white feather, and I too like the sun rays which mimicks their tail spread out for all to see.

How lovely, Sabrina! I adore the green (my fave color) & white w/ the rays behind it. And how fab you were able to see a white peacock IRL! My hubs was just showing me a video of a red peacock. How on earth did that happen? I asked if they fed him red koolaid or something.
