I stenciled both the crackle and diamonds with acrylic paint to create a bit of a resist and allowed to dry. Then sponged a myriad of DOX inks over the top Lifting a bit with a damp towel to bring back my crackle resist pattern. Finished by stamping elements from the Life's Possibilities set in black ink.

Great artsy creation with the mixed mediums. You do it so well, mine looks like mud when trying these bg. Like how the tickets frame the card for the bold focal point. Fantastic card. TFS

A crackle stencil - how very cool! I really like your ticket framing of the umbrella man, one of those stamps that hovers on my wish list because I love what I see other people do, but I'm never sure that I'd use him.
