Barbara has chosen calypso coral, peekaboo peach and old olive. This dp has close to these colors. I saw a similar design on Random Reflections blog by Karen: https://kbwalker.blogs.com/random_re...ay-wishes.html, so I wanted to try it. I used Gina Marie stitched rectangles to cut out 2 same size frames. Popped the flowers up with dimensionals. tfl
Trivia: My first ever album that I bought was Harry Belafonte's Jump Up Calypso. I was in gr. 5 and the substitute teacher brought in this album for us to listen to. Do you remember your first L.P.?

This is great! I love those frames cut from the pretty patterned paper and the fun layout. I can't remember my first album but it may have been The Beatles' Rubber Soul : ).

Those two frames together are such a fun design element especially against the bold bg. Lovely card.
I’m not sure which album was my first...it may have been Willy and the Poor Boys by Creedence Clearwater Revival...

my first LP was Elton John. thanks for the trip down memory lane. i love it that card-making takes us so many different places in our minds and hearts and connections with others. great choice of dsp, love the double frame. love your use of negative space - my eye really stays in bounds.
Ooo.. I love your version with your fun DP frames. Those gems are awesome! One of my first tapes was Amy Grant. We had a record player, but the one record I can remember was of humpback whale calls. ??? We listened to that a lot. I feel like I just stepped out of the Way Back Machine.
