ZBC11H8: I am finally caught up on the alphabet challenge! This week the letter is H with a double challenge of a Halloween card, no double for me. My h's are hexagons, honeycomb, honeybee, happy, horizontal, and Highland Heather ink.
F4A479: The challenge was to draw a simply line background. Hopefully it is OK to have more than just the lines, as I also have the honeycomb in the background.
I started by sponging Daffodil Delight on the background through the honeycomb stencil. I followed that with painting Mango Melody horizontal lines on part of the background. I set this aside to dry.
I stamped my flower, bud, and leaves using the stamp-a-ma-jig for the two step stamping. I also stamped the honeybee and colored with Copic markers, and fussy cut.
I adhered the flowers and leaves to the background and then determined where I wanted the bee. I used this technique from Jennifer McGuire to make the bee into a floating element on the card: https://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2...ng-images.html My bee doesn't move a lot, but it is mobile.
I added sparkle to the bee's wings and the flowers. I don't have any card stock to match these new purples so went direct to paper to create a faux purple card base. The entire panel is popped up with foam tape.
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful fussy cutting, sponging, lining, you name it. Love seeing this new ink color, which I do not have yet. Your direct to paper to color it looks really good. Wow! Adorable bee, thanks for the link to check it out! This is a lovely card for H!

Beautiful card, Catherine! Love the colors and the fabulous rose. I have that stamp set, too. You have inspired me to find it. Love the background with the honeycomb and the stripes. Well done! TFS

I love this card Catherine. I love the honey comb you stenciled onto the background and these wonderful stripes that all highlight your gorgeous purple bloom here. You did a fantastic job with your 2-step stamping and I would say this sweet little bee agrees! ~Karen.
