I stamped the tulips in Archival Ink on Bristol, made a mask, and sponged Distress Inks over and around the mask. I spattered some water on the background for a little interest. I had intended to colour the tulips but liked the detailed black and white image too much so I didn't. Almost a one layer card - not something I do often!

So elegant, Ann! Love the colors you've chosen for your sponged background, and the water spatters add just the right look and interest ...beautiful and serene. I'm also a fan of your uncolored tulip...the detailed stamp stands on its own for sure!

This is gorgeous with the tulips popping out in black and white. I love the beautiful background, too.

Incredible background. Had to take a second look when you said you masked the flowers to create that pretty background. A lovely Mother’s Day card for someone special.
