Iâm back from my hand surgery "vacation," and I'm ready to tackle some SCS challenges. I entering several of this weekâs challenge, plus playing some challenge catch-up as well. This card is for a cardmaking bestieâs birthday, who lives nearby, thus we are able to get together fairly often for paper play dates. My design idea developed by choosing a card to âCASEâ by cdimick, the current Featured Stamper. From there, I visited the Inspiration challenge and I found my color theme, which I refined with the exact blues and greens required in the Color Challenge. It went on from there until I managed to fit ELEVEN challenges by tweaking my card to fit the requirements of all. Thatâs a new record for me, with seven to nine being more common. Following are the challenges that Iâm entering:
1. CC736 â Color Challenge â âA Balmy Coastal Tideâ â 4/23/19. I used the required colors: Balmy Blue, Coastal Cabana, and Tranquil Tide, as well as completed the dessert by adding leaves.
3. IC698 â Inspiration Challenge â âNature Fine Art Photosâ â 4/20/19. I chose a beautiful picture of Havasu Falls at the Grand Canyon for its beautiful blues and greens. The link is here: https://www.naturefineartphotos.com/...-grand-canyon/
4. MMTPT560 â Teapot Challenge â âSay It With Flowersâ â 4/16/19. I added flowers to my shaker frame to dress it up and it fits the challenge perfectly.
5. CT0419 â Fan Club Monthly ThemesâApril 2019 â âSprinkles & Sproutsâ â 4/15/19. I added glitter glaze, confetti embossing folder, flowers, and a shaker to my card, thus fulfilling many of the choices available.
6. F4A477 â Free 4 All challenge â âEaster/ Springâ â 4/12/19. My card theme choice is Springâ¦springy colors and flowers.
7. AOCC19APR â All Occasions Card Challenge â 4/1/19. I am meeting one of my birthday goals for the month.
8. WT732 â Ways to Use It Challenge â âHow Does Your Garden Grow?â â 3/21/19. I am âplantingâ flowers on my card.
10. MIX289 â Mix-Ability Challenge â âHow Does Your Garden Grow?â â 8/10/18. Add flowers to your card. My mediums are Copic marker coloring, Acrylic Glitter Glaze (painted on with foam brush), Wink of Stella/ Clear, and stamping ink.
11. USEIT2019 â Ongoing/ Daily. As my old/ dusty items, I have used a three-old and a two-year old stamp set (Marquee Messages and Happy Birthday Gorgeous). I inked both for the first time, plus I used an old embossing folder. I also cracked open a brand new stamp set (Vibrant Vases) and used my new Acrylic Glitter Glaze.
Yayyyyy! You are back!!! We miss you when you are gone! I love this!! Such a wonderful color and I love this shaker! I love how you lit up your sign! Such a fun card!

Welcome back! I imagine you are glad to have your hand surgery done.
You made up for lost time with so many challenges in one card. Spectacular shaker card! I like the pearls on the arrow; they look like the lights you would see on a marquee. The added flowers add a lovely feminine touch. Wonderful use of the colors. Awesome creativity! Good to see you in the gallery. TFS
