I have had this stamp for so long. I have tried stamping it up but each time couldn't get it to stamp out nicely - ending up each time with inky spots on the blank areas. Having had enough of mucking around with it I took the scissors to the stamp and removed all the rubber where the ink was catching - must have cut out half a dozen little spaces and not holding out much hope that it would work. Loaded up Misti again and finally - SUCCESS.
The image is coloured with water colour pencils and water colour paints.
This Australian image reminds me so much of the wet lands up north in the tropics - where they have such wonderful sunsets and sunrises. I decided to make mine a sunrise. I might have another go and make it a sunset.
Hope you enjoy.

What a stunning card. The scene is magnificent. Glad you got the scissors out and repaired the stamp. I have had to do that a few times, also. Fav'd

Your pink and purple sky is so delicate and beautiful! What a lovely scene that stamp creates. You were very patient with it - so glad you didn't give up on it! That tree is such a unique shape. They don't grow around here like that mate! :-)
