Thanks for hosting the TeaPotters' challenge today, Polly. You created the perfect blend for cards to Amanda. Hydrangeas, Blue, Encouragement. Well, I managed 2 of 3. I just couldn't resist using this photo of one of my hydrangeas...not blue, but gorgeous, don't you think? I leave the blooms on until the next Spring. All the little birds find food among the mopheads.
The photo was cut with the wonky stitched rectangles. I used a Donna Downey sentiment:
What is possible in ART becomes thinkable in life.
I stamped it on Glossy paper and rubbed ink over the top and rubbed it off the letters. It was layered with black cs. I finished it off with my favorite embellishment: Staples. These are fuchsia colored.
Thanks for your comments. I can't wait to see the gallery...it'll be blooming full!

Ooh, those hydrangeas are a beautiful color and I do like your staples. I don't think I have ever seen a hydrangea in real life in that color...sure do like it. and I'm thinking Amanda will, too.

Hydrangeas ... my favorites (along with roses). This is beautiful. I did not read the teapot challenge yet but whomever receives this will be in awe of it's beauty.

Gorgeous photo, and personally a colour I would prefer for hydrangeas! I love the way you trimmed around the shape of the blossoms along the bottom edge, and around the sentiment. I would have picked staples as your favourite, even though I didn't spot them till I went back up for another look. Followed by German scraps?

Great to see the other beautiful colour combination for hydrangeas. Pink one are so pretty too. Great idea to include a photo of the flowers in your garden.
