Featured Stamper Challenge honoring cdimick. Congratulations Catherine!
CAS Challenge to use negative die-cut
I had a blast looking through Catherineâs gallery. She is just a sweetheart. I have a few of her cards already in my favorites. Today, I was so excited to find this card:
I finally ordered the Flourish Thinlits set and I received it just a few days ago. Catherineâs card was the inspiration I needed to unwrap and start creating with it. The CAS Challenge today calls for using a negative die-cut which was perfect.
As Catherine did, I used a colorful background (from my stash) with a change in colors. I laid the negative die-cut panel on top, rather than use the die-cut piece. I left off the sentiment until I use it. Instead I punched a corner and added an enamel heart. Since it is a CAS Challenge, I kept it simple and gave the focal attention to the negative die-cut. Two fun challenges.
Thanks for looking!

So soft and pretty, Diane! I love that stamp and die cut set and you have put the die cut negative to wonderful use here. I like your soft colors peeking through and the detail of one punched corner with that sweet heart is lovely. Thanks for your kind words too.

What a stunning card this is Diane and so lovely for the challenges. I adore the colors you used on this card. This vine die cut makes the perfect negative for your bg, but it is this corner punch with sweet little heart that really takes this card to the next level. Fav'd! ~Karen.
