encouraged! Sabrina issued a Fancy Fold Challenge with loads of options. jdmommy (Anne) had brought one to the gallery a few weeks ago. I was game. I stopped counting at 7 sheets of paper gone wrong. I suppose the 8th sheet was magic! I must say this took awhile until I could 'see' how it was supposed to be folded. Clever! And I have scraps to use for future cards. Thanks for challenging me, ladies.
This card was also created for the VSN challenge 'don't forget the animals' issued by Susan (susanbri). I know frogs are amphibians. Don't know if you'd travel with them...well maybe with a traveling circus!
My frog conductor is a new Rubber Moon image by the talented Dave Brethauer. He is the genius behind Memory Box (yes, the dies and the patterned paper I hoard 'cause there is no more). I thought the scale of the Fancy Fold pop up would be perfect.
I used a RubberMoon stencil by Kae Pea to lay over the top of the frog to create my starry background. Various ChalkBox inks were stenciled onto the bg. The frog Conductor was colored with Copics and I add touched of Liquid Pearls to his crown and 'conducting sticks'.
And just who is he conducting? The dancer will be revealed in another upload.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh Susan - your frog is just totally delightful, made me smile big time. I love his moon and star batons. And what a magical background - it's gorgeous. Glad you managed to upload, I saw your post about having problems.

Delightful! I spotted your fancy fold yesterday and forgot to leave a comment...I think I was overcome by the whimsical genius of it! I don't think I've ever seen that frog conductor....so darn cute! Rubbermoon has the best stamps! I love the star bg...perfect! FAB card Susan!
