I had this image waiting for me to use, so I figured for Julieâs negative die cut challenge today, I would print the cute mouse out without the balloon and cut the balloon out for my negative cut. I used the balloon pattern in the ScanNCut which made my life so easy as I could scan in the paper and place the balloon in just the right place. Only thing is, I didnât notice until just now that I forgot to draw in the missing part of the balloon string. Poor little guyâs balloon is floating away! Iâll make sure I tether back on as soon as I get home.

That alcohol ink bg was an awesome choice to put behind your negative die cut and oh the memories . . . as a child my uncle brought us balloons much like this that blew up bigger that beach balls! Your little mouse is beautifully colored.

this is darling! I think it's a happy mistake on the balloon string. i admit i have never left one detached, but.... now that is see how cute that is, i will do that sometime this summer on at least one of the many birthday cards i need to make. that is a happy accident that can sprout many different sentiments, in my crazy mind, anyway. hahhah Teresa
