Lisa, thanks for the fun VSN challenge! That makes me smile, Shoe Girl!
So I created a card with this new girl that I have not inked yet. She is soooo pretty and easy to color! I decided to add a floral background with another stamp I had not inked yet.
So I made a birthday card and how that fits with traveling is that both my sister and daughter have a June birthday. I remember as a kid being on vacation quite often when my sister had her birthday. I don't remember her ever minding it so I never thought anything of taking a vacation on my daughter's birthday. We always had presents and even a cake but she told us recently she hates being on vacation for her birthday! Who knew?
I hope you will check out my blog post for all the details!

Saw this on Instagram and loved it! That large floral image is such a perfect backdrop for this pretty image—which is colored beautifully! I’m inspired to use some of my largest stamps in this way. Don’t know why I never thought of that. So easy and fabulous. That’s why I love it here. So many clever people and so much inspiration. Thanks for sharing this beauty, Angie!

I am so glad you are smiling because I am smiling at this image and these AMAZING SHOES she is wearing. What a terrific birthday card she makes too. Oh I am sorry your daughter does not like being on vacation for her birthday, I am with her I would not want to be on vacation for my birthday because my ideal birthday is in my craft room. LOL! Thank you so much for playing along.

I love everything about this beautiful card Angie. This young lady is so hip and confident with her fashionable clothes, purse and shoes. I would never have thought to put a large flower image in the background like this and I absolutely love it so thank you for the great inspiration on this. I love pink so I was thrilled to see all the pink in this card. Too funny about your daughter not liking being on vacation for her birthday- we are all different. Maybe she wants to be around her friends instead? It's all good! ~Karen.
