I was hoping to stamp big blooms onto the glossy photo card that had been dunked in re-inkers....nothing was quite big enough, that's when I remembered my jumbo daisy punch.
It's been years since my punches have seen the light of day, I'm sure glad I kept them though. To give the petals a bit of character I used a 0.8mm micron pen and doodled around the edges.
The flower pot was made by dunking the glossy card in diluted Dylusions ink spray. Wait a few seconds, then wipe off the excess inky water with paper towel, cloth etc. Same technique when using the re-inkers on glossy paper. I embossed the glossy card and cut it into the shape of a flower pot.
The card needed something so I cut a long strip of black cardstock and road tested white dots, dashes etc to work out what would look best. If I'm testing something, I often do it on acetate and then lay it over the card to make sure it looks ok before committing it to the actual card.
As I am hosting this weeks Teaparty, I was able to make this card before leaving on our holiday. DH and I are away in our caravan until the end of May. It might take me a few days to comment on your cards (the internet signal is not always good). Thank you so much for looking and thank you Joan (smileyjoan) for suggesting this Teaparty for Caterina.

I've wondered where you've been, Susie, your artwork has been missed, but no doubt you & hubby are having a great time holidaying in your caravan! Your beautiful, vibrant flowers would brighten anyone's day and I love the doodling on the punched flowers, great idea!

The bright colors on those flowers are just so vibrant...wow...and your outlining really gives them definition. I love the ink spray flower pot...nice embossing. She'll be blown away when she opens your card.
Hope you're having fun! Can't wait to see you back in the gallery....

How fun is this? Love those big, bright, colorful flowers! Never saw a punch like that but I love how you used this. Also love the hand drawn flower pot embossed to look like wicker. This is brilliant!
