Hey, happy VSNn'ers...where are you in the From Here to There challenge? A delightfully chaotic dash of hourly challenges over the course of 2 days with a week or more to get them done and in the galleries! 17 inspiring challenges....
Polly asked us to show what we do while WAITing to travel from here to there...well, for me, I'd take the time to have another shot of espresso.
I confess, I am a coffee snob. My first taste of espresso was in the '70's in Italy. Living in Seattle further spoiled me. It was in the '90's and the beginnings of Starbucks. Not drip dunking' coffee for me. It must be espresso, a shot of creamy, caramel colored elixir of the mortals. It is sipped, not chugged!
The ephemera is my favorite Coffee shop's business card. I am still Ways to Using Carla's Challenge from a few weeks ago...BRADS to tack the card onto my card. The classic Moka pot on the right was invented by an Italian in 1933. The '70's stay warm thermos is rocking with the bright yellow and orange. They are part of an Altenew set called Coffee Love. Used a vertical strip of one Canoe two plaid paper.
So if you're out there waiting...follow your nose!
Thanks Polly...I bet you and your sis enjoyed lots of lovely pastries on your trip. They'd go well with a cuppa.

Oh you coffee snob you...hehe...what a great card you brought to the VSN party! I love the retro elements and that plaid strip definitely has a 60s vibe (I think I had a dress out of that plaid)...Thanks for playing along.
Oh and we did have some wonderful food in Europe..of course we had the famous Sacher Torte in Vienna...twice! It was a fabulous trip and lovely to share with my best friend.

Great fun! Awesome vintage vibes! But I think I’ll get some ice cream while you go for your coffee, Who knows though, maybe I would like coffee if I tried a proper espresso.

Oh lovely coffee memories! My DH doesn't drink coffee or tea so when we travel while I can get my fix easily he is always paying a huge premium for a Coke if he can get it at all. :-) My most memorable beverage was obtained in Turkey! Love your card Susan. ...I had a dress with that plaid as well though the black was substituted for blue.

I am with you on being a coffee snob. My aunt and my grandma both taught me to drink my coffee black and enjoy the flavor. I am extremely picky about good coffee now and will not hesitate putting down a cup of coffee if it does not meet my standards...but setting that aside I love your espresso card. Great images and super layout too.
