I made this card for Jacqueline's VSN challenge: "To the Moon, Alice!" Love this idea! So many pretty cards in the gallery!
Luckily, I had already made a bunch of alcohol ink backgrounds before VSN. I just had to add some darker color and the white for the stars. I wanted to stamp and emboss moon onto bg, but the heat would curl the paper. I decided to stamp and emboss moon and clouds onto black cs with VersaMark and black embossing powder. I then brushed on white pigment ink onto moon, embossed and fussy cut out moon and clouds. Glued onto bg. Added the saying and layered onto blue, then black card.
Very fun challenge! Thanks Jacqueline!

I'm glad you liked this challenge. Your galaxy background is so rich looking with the dark blues and purples. I like it with the alcohol inks; it's got so much depth. A+ for you!

I agree-so rich and great looking...and those touches of red (pink?). I looked at this one a long time. Just sort of sucks you in like a real night sky.
