I decided to try an acrylic pour in a limited amount JUST for the Mix-Ability challenge - MIX324: It's Raining, It's Pouring, and it was LOTS of fun!
I used three craft paint colors (about a pinto bean size amount) mixed with a teensy bit of water. Thick syrup consistency. On white cardstock, I dripped three round puddles of one color then dripped right on top the next color, then the third color. With leftover paint, I dripped randomly around the main paint puddles. While still wet I sprayed over the whole thing with water. -- It might be a good idea to tape down the cardstock first, hindsight they say... -- Let it dry or speed it up with a heat tool very carefully.
The paint starts to vein out onto the white space of cardstock and yet stays thick enough to keep the original puddles!
Come join the challenge, and play in spring weather!

Wow Janelle! Your background is so vibrant and beautiful. I love the colors and flowers. I've saved to my favorites and I hope to try your technique soon. Thanks for the details on how you did it!
