Building my birthday stash: stencilled the background with DOX inks and stitched round the edge. I like using buttonhole twist, it gives more definition than regular thread.
Image stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Polychromos pencils, Glossy Accents on their noses. I distressed the edges of the panel and added it to a slightly larger piece of cling wrap background, which I also used for the sentiment and the Funky Foliage leaves. I used a different cling wrap background for the SU leaves with a silver pen, and went round the edges with a Sakura pen; the flowers are from some odd Brusho experiment.

I love your birthday card, Sabrina! The kangaroo is so cute, and is that a koala bear in the pouch? Love the work you put into the background! Gorgeous!

I love everything about this birthday card Sabrina. This kangaroo mama with her sweet little baby is just adorable. Your backgrounds, gorgeous stitching and techniques you did to the leaves all add up to a spectacular card. I love your use of brads here too! ~Karen.
